The first Grand Hyatt hotel will open in Spain

Hyatt has announced the signing of a franchise agreement. Between its prestigious Grand Hyatt brand and La Manga Club, S.L., a subsidiary of Grupo Inversor Hesperia. Hyatt plans to launch the Grand Hyatt brand in Spain by the end of 2023, marking a significant milestone in its strategy to expand its luxury portfolio across key European destinations.
This expansion underscores Hyatt’s commitment to enhancing its presence in the region and catering to discerning travelers seeking exceptional hospitality experiences.
The Grand Hyatt La Manga Club and Resort
Located in the enclave of La Manga Club, Murcia. It is surrounded by 560 hectares of greenery and offers easy access to natural sites such as the Calblanque Natural Park and the Mar Menor lagoon.
The establishment is preparing for an extensive renovation project ahead of its imminent reopening. A total transformation awaits its 192 rooms, which will include the redesign of a luxurious Royal Suite spanning 156 m², along with six other meticulously appointed suites.
The dining experience will also undergo enhancements
Featuring the introduction of a sophisticated sushi bar and a high-end gourmet restaurant. Promising to elevate the culinary offerings to new heights.
This refurbishment aims to redefine the hotel’s appeal. Ensuring it remains a premier destination for discerning travelers seeking both luxury and gastronomic excellence.
Its comprehensive amenities include a luxurious spa area featuring two new adults-only pools. Complemented by 1,288 m² of versatile event space suitable for hosting meetings, conferences, and weddings.
The hotel’s extensive sports facilities
Boast three championship-level 18-hole golf courses, outdoor tennis courts, and a state-of-the-art soccer center, ensuring guests have access to a wide range of recreational and leisure activities during their stay.
Once opened, the hotel will be the first Grand Hyatt property in Spain. Grand Hyatt Lanzarote will strengthen the brand’s presence in the country in 2025. Grand Hyatt La Manga Club and Resort will join the brand’s European portfolio alongside existing hotels in cities such as Berlin, Athens and Istanbul.
